Livia Day, author of A Trifle Dead
Tabitha Darling is the heroine of my upcoming crime novel, A Trifle Dead, set around the cafes, markets and share houses of Hobart, Tasmania. Tabitha runs Cafe La Femme, solves occasional murders, and collects vintage frocks. Everything ends up on her bedroom floor eventually - she’s not tidy.
I’m Livia Day, crime author and trifle addict. I have very little say over the state of Tabitha’s bedroom floor, but I do all the work around here. I’ve lived in Tasmania most of my life and I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m kind of over books which insist it’s a grim, ghostly or cold place to live. The Tasmania of my books is a fun place to hang out, full of eccentrics and artists, and really great coffee.
You may also hear from @tansyrr on occasion - she’s the one who blogs all the Doctor Who and superhero pictures, but she has her own blog (http://tansyrr.com/) and really should stay there.
